Match the full report (optional)
Choose the report file (.json) kept by the certificate's owner. Its SHA-256 fingerprint must equal the one in the certificate. The file is read locally and is not uploaded.

What a valid certificate proves
That SecureErase issued it, and that its details (date, number of items, method, drive types and report fingerprint) were not changed afterwards. It does not prove more than SecureErase itself guarantees: on SSDs and USB drives, overwriting cannot be guaranteed to reach every old copy, and the certificate shows the assurance level that applied.
